This isn’t surprising, when you consider it was this mindset that drove the creation of the software company back in 1984. It’s a story of innovation being born out of necessity.
Filling the technology niche
In the early 1980’s, the offsite records center industry was emerging. As businesses grew, so too did the need for technology solutions. Failing to find a software solution that fully met its clients’ requirements, ASI’s former parent company, Andrews Records Center, forged its own path. With customer input, the company’s newly formed software department soon had an in-house records center software solution. This was followed by a media vault solution and client-side software, enabling clients to manage their own account information.
Recognizing there was a technology niche to fill, Andrews Software, Inc. was soon launched. It quickly established itself as a unique software provider.
